Text: Deuteronomy 31:1,3, 9:3
Deuteronomy 31:1 And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel. 3 The Lord thy God, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath said.
9:3 Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, (yâraš) and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.
Crossover is a decision.
- We must have Faith in God, the one who has gone before us. God is already in your 2025. He has gone before us.
- Faith in yourself. Before you possess you must dispossess.
Possess or drive out- Yârash to occupy by driving out a previous tenant.
- Expel or give an eviction notice.
- To seize or arrest.
- To apprehend a thief. If a thief steals and gets caught, he must restore seven times.
- To arrest a criminal.
- To become armed and dangerous.
- To rob the robber!
- To take back what has been purchased as an inheritance.
- To take them back, putting them in the poor house to impoverish them.
- Faith to Fight- To go armed as we are coming after someone. (Numbers 32:17)
- Faith in Victory– Faith to exterminate (Deuteronomy 31:3)
- Faith to Remember– Remember not the former things. (Isaiah 48:13)
- Remember not.
- Remember the Cross and the Blood of Jesus.
- Remember to put off the old and put on the new you! (Ephesians 4:22-23)
- Renewed in the spirit of your mind.
- Remember to keep His commandments.
- Remember who brought you over to bless you. (Deuteronomy 6:23)
- He will bring us out to bring us in.
- Remember it is God that is making us fruitful in the land.
- Remember, lest you forget who brought you out from this year of turmoil into a land of blessing.
